Our founder Ken Altfather has been involved in the manufacturing of prototypes and models for nearly fifty years. Ken worked for and learned the intricacies of model and prototype manufacturing from some of the best craftsmen in the Pittsburgh market. In 1983, Ken established Altfather Models. Our mission is to provide quality models and prototypes " From Concept to Reality." Working from a conversation, a rough napkin sketch or precise 2D dimensional drawings, we will produce a model or prototype to your specifications. An inventor with an idea, an architect requiring a conceptual model or a fully functional prototype for commerce and industry, we've successfully met these challenges.
